T S Vishwanath - is the President and Managing Committee Member of the Public Affairs Forum of India (PAFI).

As the Principal Adviser with APJ-SLG Law Offices, New Delhi since April 2009, he works closely with government and industry on the impact of global economic and trade policies.

In APJ-SLG he works closely with different departments of the government on issues related to bilateral, regional and multilateral trade and investment agreements. He also works with industry across sectors to provide strategic inputs on issues of competitiveness including global economic, trade and regulatory policies across manufacturing and services sectors.

Vishwanath worked very closely with industry in India on bilateral, multilateral and trade policy issues as part of the International Trade Policy Division in the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) which he joined in 1999. As Head of CII's Trade Policy Division he was also part of the Indian government team for some WTO and FTA negotiations.

Before joining CII, Vishwanath was an economic journalist for over 12 years covering trade and economic policy issues for some leading Indian economic dailies - The Economic Times, Financial Express and the Hindu Business Line.

Ishteyaque Amjad is the Treasure and Managing Committee Member of the of the Public Affairs Forum of India (PAFI).

Ishteyaque Amjad is the Vice President, Public Affairs & Communications (PAC) at Coca-Cola India and South West Asia. He spearheads the practice and his charter includes government relations, policy advocacy, communications and sustainability. With a career spanning more than two decades, Ishteyaque has had the opportunity to work across a diverse set of industries through stints in organizations such as Cargill, HCL and Essar Group.

As one of India's leading practitioners of public/corporate affairs, Ishteyaque is passionate about social issues and is a strong advocate for deploying business solutions to address societal challenges. He is often described as someone with a capitalist's mind and an activist's heart!

Ishteyaque serves on the board of management for TERI University. He has led the initiative of India Food Banking Network in its formative years and advises m.Paani, an award-winning enterprise to bring social changes in India. He graduated with a Bachelor degree in Economics from Aligarh Muslim University and is also an alumnus of the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.
With a flair for words, Ishteyaque prefers poetry and anecdotes as the perfect medium for storytelling. A skill he exercises often during fun Friday evenings with his two boys, sipping a Coke Zero 'on the rocks' and a slice of lemon.

Rajeev Batra is the past president and Managing Committee Member of the of the Public Affairs Forum of India (PAFI).

Rajeev has more than 30 years of work experience, a work career focused towards managing Corporate Affairs, Issues Management and Commercial activities of business enterprise.

He heads the Corporate Affairs function at Hindustan Unilever Limited and represents the Company at various important business chambers, diplomatic missions, commerce committees, industry associations and other platforms. Rajeev is responsible for building and nurturing sustained relationships, for continued high perception of the Company’s image.

Having earned his MBA from University Business School, Punjab University, Chandigarh, India, he is currently pursuing an Executive Doctorate in Business Administration (PhD) on Leadership Styles of Indian MNCs.

Prema Sagar is the founding member and past President of the Public Affairs Forum of India (PAFI).

Vice Chair, Burson-Marsteller, Asia Pacific & Principal/Founder, Genesis Burson-Marsteller, Prema established Genesis Public Relations, in November of 1992, which mirrors the journey of India's most trusted public relations and public affairs firm. Rahul Sharma is the Vice President and founding member of the Public Affairs Federation of India (PAFI). President, Rediffusion Communications, Rahul brings nearly 30 years of experience in media and public affairs to the table.

A former newspaper editor, Rahul has lived and worked in various countries. Starting his journalism career in India, he joined Reuters in early 1990s where he covered some of the biggest political and economic stories in the region before returning home as Editor, Delhi, Hindustan Times. In his last journalistic role, Rahul was Editor of the Dubai-based Khaleej Times, the oldest English-language daily in the Gulf region.

Prior to joining Rediffusion, Rahul was President, Public Affairs, South Asia, at Genesis Burson-Marsteller where he led policy and political campaigns. As a public affairs expert, he has worked with clients across sectors, advising them on policy and crisis issues. Rahul has written extensively on global and regional financial markets and economic issues. His subject interests include China, foreign policy and international relations, and he has contributed to various Indian and foreign publications.

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Rahul has a Masters in International Relations and Security from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at the Tufts University and a Masters in International Trade and Economy from Flinders University, Adelaide.

Harish Krishnan is the President and Founding Member of the Public Affairs Forum of India (PAFI).

As the Executive Director, Global Government Affairs, Cisco Systems India, Harish leads Cisco’s strategic engagement with National and State Governments of India on wide range of policy issues that concerns Cisco in India - as an investor, globalization hub, and seller and as a corporate citizen.

Harish also serves on Cisco’s India 3.0 board which looks at transformational project and strategic issues on a 3-5 year horizon.

Harish actively participates in public policy forums in India and is a member of the Confederation of Indian Industry’s National Committee on Telecom, Executive Council of MAIT, Vice Chairman, American Chamber of Commerce in India (Northern Region), FICCI’s National Committee on Telecom and USIBC’s digital task force.

From 2003 to 2007, Harish was an Executive in the Governmental Program function of IBM specially focused providing leadership to IBM’s engagement with the Government of India on Innovation, Global Resourcing & HR issues. Prior to joining IBM, Harish worked for over 11 years with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) – India’s Premier Industry organization in a variety of roles. In his last role as CII’s Director for Information Technology, Harish worked with CEOs of corporate India on issues affecting the IT& BPO industry.

Raman Sidhu is the Founding Member of the Public Affairs Forum of India (PAFI).Raman is a veteran of 29 years in Investment Banking and Corporate Banking in India and two years in Insolvency and Liquidation Business in London. Presently, Raman is a Member-Corporate & Investment Banking

India Executive Committee, Head-Public Sector Business, India and Head-Corporate Banking Coverage, North India at the Deutsche Bank AG, Delhi/Gurgaon.

His past assignments include appointments with Grindlays Bank plc, Barclays Bank PLC, HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India) Pvt. Ltd., and, FIL (Fidelity) Fund Management Pvt. Ltd. Raman has served on the Board of Directors of several private and public sector undertakings.

He continues to be on the Boards/Committees of G4S Corporate Services (India) Pvt. Ltd., Foundation for Aviation and Sustainable Tourism (FAST), European Business Group, India, National Executive Committee of FICCI and the Capital Markets Committee of ASSOCHAM. Raman was a member of a 5 member Core Group instituted by Ministry of Corporate Affairs to establish ‘Corporate Governance Norms for all Foreign Financial Institutions operating in India’.

A graduate from St. Stephen College, Delhi, with a B.A. (Hons.) degree in Economics, Raman qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982 from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, U.K., and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Dr. K.C. Ravi K.C. Ravi is the Treasurer and Managing Committee Member of the Public Affairs Forum of India (PAFI).

Dr. K C Ravi joined Syngenta in August 2011 and is Vice President – Commercial Acceptance and Public Policy for South Asia at Syngenta. He is responsible for internal communication, & external communication, government affairs and Public Policy for the region comprising of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Prior to joining Syngenta, Ravi was heading the Government and Public Policy function for the Cummins Group of companies, the world’s leading manufacturer of engines and related technologies.

Ravi has also worked in Monsanto as the head of Government and Public Affairs and in DHL Express as the Head of Customs and Regulatory Affairs. In these roles his principal responsibility was to influence policy change to provide a conducive environment for the growth of the industry. He was also advising DHL network in the South-East Asian Region.

From 1993-2002, he worked in the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) – the apex Industry Association. In his last assignment with CII, he was heading the Economics & Taxation wing. As the Director, his responsibilities included providing expert advice to its members on diverse economic issues relating to Industrial Policy, Monetary Policy, EXIM Policy, Fiscal Policy, Capital Markets, Banking, and Insurance etc. He also handled the media department and other important committees including the National Council of CII during his tenure. He has also been a member of a number of government committees and working groups on non-ferrous industry, capital goods industry, textiles industry and excise structure rationalization. He was also a member of the Hi-level committee on Export Import Policy for the period 2002-07. He was a member of the CII - Harvard Business School project on “Competitiveness of Indian Industry” headed by Prof. Michael Porter.

Ravi has been a regular contributor and has written numerous articles in all leading financial dailies like Business Standard, Economic Times, Times of India and Financial Express. He has also contributed a paper to the World Bank Report on “Harmonization of Customs Procedures”. Besides he has written policy papers on trade and tax reforms as well as economic policy issues for the CII for submission to the government.
