Rakesh Dubey

Rakesh Dubey is Director – Global Government Affairs with the Carlyle Group, focusing on policy advocacy, engagement with government and stakeholders. Prior to joining Carlyle, Rakesh was leading Public and Government Affairs for Bayer Crop Science in Asia-Pacific building strategic partnerships with stakeholders in government, industry chambers, customers and peer industry partners on climate smart agriculture initiatives and sustainable growth models for small-holder farmers. Rakesh led the Policy and Government Affairs for Monsanto in India before his role at Bayer. He has contributed to industry for more than 25 years leading Stakeholder Engagement, R&D strategy and investments, Technology Commercialization and Business Development functions. He has a bachelor’s and master’s in agriculture from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, India, and MS in Genetics from Texas A&M University.
