Sanjay Chadha

Sanjay is responsible for working with governments, policymakers and third parties to create a positive case for change and a favorable environment for Uber’s innovations in mobility, delivery and beyond.

Prior to joining Uber, Sanjay was an Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Government of India, and handled multiple international trade negotiations with USA, Canada, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and other countries in North East Asia. He has also served as the Chairman and CEO of MMTC Limited, India’s largest international trade organization. Sanjay has also been an Executive Director of the Railway Board, and Director at the Ministry of Power, Government of India, overseeing the development of Hydro Power and IPPs including the Investment Promotions Cell.

Sanjay has co-authored a book titled “Indian Railways: The Weaving of a National Tapestry” with Bibek Debroy, Chairman of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India. Sanjay is a Graduate from Faculty of Management Studies, New Delhi.
