Devashish Dasgupta

Devashish presently heads the Corporate Affairs function at the HUL (Group level i.e., across business verticals) working closely on senior level Government engagements.

Devashish has over two decades of rich experience across diverse sectors including FMCG, Food Service, Information Technology, Infrastructure, Media, and Automobiles.

Devashish started his career after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant at Arthur Andersen's Business Advisory and Taxation practice. Post this, he founded and headed a consulting business for over 10 years assisting multinational companies' entry and business and Government affairs strategy for India.

Following his successful consultancy, Devashish set up the India operations for a leading International Public Affairs consulting, APCO - Worldwide as their first Managing Director for India & South Asia.

Devashish later joined Diageo's business as Director Corporate Relations for India and South Asia and subsequently joined Google as the Country Head of Public Policy.

His last assignment prior to joining HUL was as Executive Vice President for GSK Consumer Healthcare, India & South Asia.

He is an avid marathoner and endurance cyclist.
