Amitabh Kant highlighted that India's G20 Presidency is a defining opportunity amid global crises - economic instability, inflation, geopolitics, energy shortages, debt, conflicts, and post-COVID effects - stressing that every crisis holds vast potential.
He emphasised that India's priorities include: climate action, SDGs, debt relief, and food-energy security via green development, LiFE, and climate finance accountability of the developed nations.
Mr. Kant also underscored the "4Ds"- demographics, digitisation, decarbonization, and de-globalisation -urging Indian businesses to de-monopolise global markets during this G20 window. During the Q&A, he called on PAFI and the public affairs community to champion infrastructure-led growth, boost productive efficiency, and propel Indian firms as global champions.
