He has worked extensively in Payments, AI, Cybersecurity, Cloud, E- Commerce sectors. Abhishek has spent his professional life across geographies spanning South Asia, Africa, Middle East, South Pacific.
In his previous stints Abhishek headed Public Policy functions at Google Pay, and Amazon Pay. With a focus on Fintech, financial inclusion Abhishek has driven policy dialogues and shaped the Policy discourse in fintech ecosystem with Government, Industry forums and regulatory bodies.
Abhishek’s Policy leadership has contributed significantly in shaping advocacy campaigns focused on financial inclusion, Cyber awareness, MSME, SHG Banking women and small business empowerment.
From launching WA Payments, shaping Digi Dhan mission in MeitY to leading NABARDs key pilot on Bank Sakhi model that led to key guidelines on SHG and is one of the largest SHG led entrepreneurship model today Abhishek’s expertise have shaped outcomes of key Policy agenda in Fintech and Emerging tech world.
