Harish serves as the Managing Director& Chief Policy Officer Cisco South and Southeast Asia, where he leads Cisco's strategic engagement with national and state governments on a broad spectrum of public policy issues. His work encompasses Cisco's roles as an investor, globalization hub, business unit, and corporate citizen in the region. Harish also leads the Cisco Indias Purpose Office, advancing the company's mission of "Powering an Inclusive Future for All." Over the past decade, Cisco India Purpose Office has positively impacted over 50 million lives in India through various social initiatives.
Based in New Delhi, Harish has been with Cisco since May 2007 and brings over 30 years of experience in the technology and public policy. He is a prominent participant in India's public policy landscape, serving as Mentor MAIT, Chairman of the Telecom Committee at MAIT, Chairman of the CSR Committee for the American Chamber of Commerce in India and Member of the CII National Committee on Communications and Information Technology. Harish is also the Former President and Co-Founder of the Public Affairs Forum of India (PAFI).
Before joining Cisco, Harish worked with IBM from 2003 to 2007 as part of its Governmental Program team, leading policy engagement with the Government of India on innovation, global resourcing, and HR issues. Prior to IBM, he spent over 11 years at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), where he held various leadership roles, including Director for Information Technology. In this capacity, he collaborated with top corporate leaders to address key challenges facing India's IT and BPO sectors.
