Major Ranjeet Goswami, Retd. has a distinguished career spanning three decades; currently serves as the Global Head of Corporate Affairs at Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS). In his current responsibility, Ranjeet leads Strategic Business Partnerships; working with Indian and multiple foreign governments, by shaping public and business policies. Ranjeet has a diverse experience, extending from Defence and Homeland Security to managing Business P&L and Public Affairs.

Ranjeet also serves on several influential trade committees and government policy forums, contributing to policy discourse on domestic and bilateral/ plurilateral discussions.

Ranjeet is the incoming  Vice President for Public Affairs Forum of India (PAFI). PAFI is at the forefront of driving ethical and respectful dialogue and interaction amongst stakeholders and serves as a professional resource for public affairs practitioners.  Additionally, owing to his unique global experience, Ranjeet has recently been nominated by the Government of India to the Market Strategy Board of International Electrotechnical Commission, a leading global standards organization. In the past, Ranjeet has held key positions in multiple committees with FICCI, CII and has convened working groups with Bureau of Indian Standards.

Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Ranjeet is a visiting faculty member and mentor to emerging public policy professionals. He has also developed a pioneering and arguably unique framework that enables organizations to quantitatively assess the impact of business policies and measure the effectiveness of corporate advocacy campaigns, bringing rigor and accountability to policy and public affairs function.

Prior to joining the corporate world in 2007, Ranjeet served for more than eleven years as a commissioned officer in the Indian Army. In recognition of his exemplary service, he was selected as Military Staff Officer (Aide-de-Camp) to the Governor of Mizoram, where he led high-level public relations, media management, and stakeholder engagement, while coordinating closely with political and administrative leadership across state and central government. This formative experience provided him with a deep understanding of governance, public policy, and strategic communications that continues to distinguish his leadership today.

Finally, as a Certified Independent Director, Ranjeet brings a strong grounding in governance, compliance, and board engagement, enabling him to effectively bridge business objectives with the expectations of diverse stakeholders.
