As Managing Director & Chief Policy Officer, Cisco India & SAARC, Harish leads Cisco’s strategic engagement with National and State Governments of India on wide range of policy issues that concern Cisco in India - as an investor, globalization hub, seller and as a corporate citizen.

Harish actively participates in public policy forums in India and is a member of the Confederation of Indian Industry’s National Committee on Telecom, Executive Council of MAIT, Vice Chairman, American Chamber of Commerce in India (Northern Region), FICCI’s National Committee on Telecom and USIBC’s digital task force.

With over 22 years of experience in Public Affairs, Harish worked in IBM & Confederation of Indian Industry before joining Cisco in 2007.

B.V.R. Subrahmanyam joined as Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog in February 2023.

B.V.R. Subrahmanyam has been in the Indian Administrative Service since 1987. In a long administrative Career, he has held positions at multiple levels in Manipur in NE India and in Madhya Pradesh. He was on the faculty of LBSNAA, Mussoorie, the civil service college of India.

He worked in the Prime Minister’s Office between 2004–2008 and 2012–2015, serving under both Prime Ministers Narendra Modi and Manmohan Singh. In this period, he was closely involved in shaping India’s development journey on the economic, infrastructure and social fronts. In between his PMO stints, he worked on the Board of the World Bank.

In 2015, he was sent as Principal Secretary of the Home Department in the Left Wing Extremism (LWE) affected state of Chhattisgarh. Over 3 years, he was instrumental in controlling LWE activities and violence through a 2-pronged effort on the security and development fronts. In 2018, Subrahmanyam was made the Chief Secretary of Jammu & Kashmir following the collapse of a coalition government. Over 3 years, he saw through the constitutional transformation of J&K, focusing on good governance and delivering development.

He worked as Commerce Secretary of India from July 2021 and retired in September 2022. During this tenure, he drove the restructuring of the department; accelerated free trade negotiations with UAE, Australia, UK, EU Canada, Israel and the GCC; rewrote the SEZ law; expanded the impact of trade to all regions of the country; involved academia in data driven policy making; and, prepared the ground work for setting up a Global Trade Promotion body.

B.V.R. Subrahmanyam published a book, Conduct in Government on conduct rules for civil servants, and a research paper, “Investment Incentives and Multilateral Disciplines.”

Sustainability Initiative in Karnataka

In December 2023, Carlsberg Group and WaterAid, globally partnered to improve access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene. The first project announced in India is a three-year water-replenishment program in the water-stressed Nanjangud Block of Mysuru, Karnataka and is expected to positively impact over 34 thousand individuals across the five Gram Panchayats- Thagadooru, Karya, Devanur, Badanavalu, Nerale. With 85,000 m3 water to be conserved in a year. We have more projects expected to be rolled out in India in the coming months.

Ambassador Arun Singh has extensive experience across the globe, including as India’s Ambassador to the United States, Israel, and France. Throughout his distinguished 37-year career in the Indian Foreign Service, Ambassador Singh has served during pivotal periods in key global capitals, and was instrumental in shaping India’s policies, notably the continued progress in the US-India relationship; India’s closer ties to Israel; and the formulation and implementation of India’s policies related to Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran, including in the period following 9/11.

Manjeev Singh Puri is a former Indian Ambassador. He joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1982 and served as Ambassador of India to the European Union, Belgium, Luxembourg (2013-2017) and Nepal (2017-2019). He has also served as Ambassador/Deputy Permanent Representative of India to the UN from 2009-2012, a period during which India was on the Security Council. Prior to that, from 2005-2009, he headed the division in the Ministry of External Affairs dealing with UN issues on the social and economic side. In addition, he has served twice in Germany (in Bonn and Berlin), in Cape Town, Muscat, Bangkok and Caracas. He retired on 31 December 2019 in the rank of Secretary, Government of India.

Major areas of his experience relate to multilateralism (UN), Europe and Nepal and he was involved as a lead member of the Indian delegation at numerous global negotiations on, migration, human rights and UN reforms. His professional focus has been on issues relating to the environment, climate change and sustainable development. He was a lead negotiator for India at the UN on issues relating to the post 2015 development agenda, Sustainable Development Goals and at the UN Conference on Sustainable Development held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in June 2012. Ms. Vini Mahajan, IAS (Punjab: 1987) is serving as Secretary in the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, with effect from January 2022. This Department is responsible for two flagship programmes viz. Jal Jeevan Mission and Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen).

Ms. Mahajan holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta, where she was placed on the Roll of Honour, and a B.A. (Honours) in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College (LSR), Delhi University.

She has served as the first woman Chief Secretary of Punjab and has also led several crucial offices in the State such as Departments of Housing & Urban Development, Revenue, Industries & Commerce, IT and Investment Promotion, Health and Finance.

Ms. Mahajan served as Director and then Joint Secretary to the Prime Minister of India from 2005-2012, and earlier in 2004-05 as Director in the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance.

Ms. Mahajan has received numerous academic awards, including the National Talent Search Scholarship. She was a Hubert Humphrey fellow based at American University in Washington DC in 2000 –2001.

Shri Apurva Chandra assumed the charge of Office of Secretary, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India on 2nd January, 2024

Shri Apurva Chandra joined the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 1988 and belongs to the Maharashtra Cadre. A Civil Engineer, Shri Chandra obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and Masters in Structural Engineering from IIT Delhi. He has long experience of dealing with issues relating to industries while working in the Government of Maharashtra and the Government of India.

Prior to joining MoHFW, Shri Apurva Chandra was Secretary of Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. He spearheaded the Ministry’s key policy issues on matters related to outreach, broadcasting, stakeholder partnership and collaboration with the Media and Entertainment Sector.

Shri Chandra has worked as Principal Secretary (Industries) in Government of Maharashtra for over four years from 2013 to 2017. During this period, Maharashtra led the country in attracting FDI and other investments. Shri Chandra was instrumental in a slew of new policies like electronic policy, retail policy, a single-window policy to attract new investments. The first smart industrial township under the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) was operationalised at Aurangabad under the leadership of Shri Chandra. During this tenure, leading industrial players like General Electric, General Motors, Volkswagen, Mercedes, Fiat Chrysler, Mahindra, Posco, Emerson, LG, Haier etc. invested in Maharashtra

Shri Chandra has spent several years in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Ministry of Defence in the Government of India. During his stint as DG (Acquisition) in Ministry of Defence, he was instrumental in bringing out the Defence Acquisition Policy, 2020 which laid emphasis on indigenization of weapon systems.

Shri Chandra has also chaired the Governing Body of ILO during the difficult period of Covid.

Mr. Dammu Ravi joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1989. He served in Indian Missions abroad in Mexico, Cuba, Brussels in various capacities from 1991 to 2001. He served at Headquarters in Ministry of External Affairs as Deputy Secretary/Director in West Europe and UN Divisions from 2001 to 2006. He served as Private Secretary to Minister of Tourism and Culture from March 2006 to May 2009. He was Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs responsible for India’s relations with Latin America and Caribbean countries from October 2009 to December 2013.

He served in Ministry of Commerce as Joint Secretary from January 2014 to February 2020 where he handled India’s Trade Policy, including WTO issues such as trade disputes, NAMA, fisheries negotiations, trade policy review etc. He was part of Indian delegation to WTO Ministerial Conference in Nairobi (MC X) in November 2015 and (MC XI) in Buenos Aires in December 2017. He also handled India’s trade and investment relations with regional groups such as G20, BRICS, Commonwealth, SCO, APEC, IORA, ASEM, UNCTAD etc. He was India’s chief negotiator in the mega regional free trade agreement ‘Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP)’.

On return to Ministry of External Affairs in March 2020, he was appointed as Additional Secretary (COVID & Europe).

Currently, he is Secretary (Economic Relations) in Ministry of External Affairs.

Arunish Chawla, IAS, a 1992-batch officer from the Bihar cadre, is the Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, since 1 November 2023. Prior to this, he served as Officer on Special Duty in the same department. Throughout his distinguished career, Chawla has held several key positions, including Additional Chief Secretary of Planning and Development, with additional responsibilities as Secretary of the Bihar State Planning Board and Project Director of the Bihar Disaster Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Society. He also led urban development efforts as Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Development and Housing, and served as Managing Director of Patna Metro Rail Corporation.

In addition to his national roles, Chawla gained international experience as a Senior Economist at the Institute of Capacity Development of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington, D.C., where he served for two years starting in 2020. Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw is an Indian politician, engineer, and bureaucrat currently serving as the Minister of Railways, Minister of Communications, and Minister of Electronics and Information Technology in the Government of India. Shivnath Thukral in his earlier role was the managing director of Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, India and set up the global think tank’s India office, leading operations and fundraising. Thukral spent the first fifteen years of his career as a journalist with New Delhi Television Limited, India’s premier TV news channel. He was the channel’s primetime presenter with special interest in business news and policy analysis. He later established the network’s business channel NDTV Profit in 2003, taking over as the managing editor. Prior to joining Carnegie, Thukral worked with an Indian corporation with a turnover of over $35 billion. Prior to joining Mastercard in June 2019, he served as Executive Vice President of Data Science at Info Edge, working on large-scale, real-time applications for businesses like Naukri, Jeevansathi, and 99acres. With over 20 years of experience, Nitendra spent 18 years at IBM Research, managing the mobile and AI agenda, and was recognised as an IBM Master Inventor and a member of the IBM Academy of Technology.

Rohit Kumar Singh serves as a Member in the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) since August 2024. An IAS officer of the 1989 batch, borne on the Rajasthan cadre, he superannuated on March 31st 2024, the last assignment being Secretary to the Government of India, Department of Consumer Affairs.

After graduating in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), he completed Masters in Computer Engineering from Clarkson University, New York, USA before joining the IAS. As Secretary to the Government of India, Department of Consumer Affairs on 31st December, 2021 where he proactively worked towards containing food inflation through a multi-pronged strategy in commodities while striking a delicate balance between the interest of the farmers and the consumers. He facilitated computerization, video conferencing, and e-filing across National, State, and District Consumer Dispute Redressal Commissions (Consumer Courts), reducing pendency and achieving a historic feat in 2023 when the disposal of cases exceeded the total number of filed cases across India. He undertook technological upgrades for the National Consumer Helpline, enabling a multilingual (covering 17 Indian languages), omni-channel system. He also started work on using AI for faster grievance redressal and developing an ODR platform for efficient pre-litigation resolution through Mediation & Conciliation.

A frequent contributor to India’s leading economic newspapers on topics ranging from Public Health, Infrastructure, Economy to Artificial Intelligence, he has taught batches of civil servants from Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Gambia, Cambodia, Caribbean and Latin America at the LBS National Academy Mussoorie on how to use Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) for infrastructure development in the emerging economies.

Harvey Jang is Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Chief Privacy Officer responsible for Cisco’s global privacy strategy, vision, and mission, focusing on compliance, market access, and differentiation. He leads a global team of privacy professionals, lawyers, and engineers in developing and operationalizing Cisco’s privacy policies and standards, privacy by design, and accountability frameworks. Harvey and team represent Cisco with regulators, standards bodies, non-governmental organizations, media, customers, and other stakeholders on issues related to privacy, information governance, and data ethics.

Ajay Bisaria is a strategic business advisor and commentator on international affairs. Rahul Roy-Chaudhury is the Senior Fellow for South and Central Asia Defence, Strategy and Diplomacy at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), where he has worked for over 20 years.

His research and publications focus on India’s domestic politics and foreign policy; regional security with a focus on Pakistan, Afghanistan and the Indian Ocean; and India-UK defence relations.

AOn these issues, he organises discreet policy-relevant ‘track 1.5’ meetings – bringing together senior government security officials with influential experts. These private and off-the-record conferences and workshops are held annually in Muscat, Manama, Istanbul, Singapore, London, Islamabad and New Delhi.

Rahul earlier worked at the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA) in New Delhi and then served briefly in the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) in the Prime Minister’s Office, during the first BJP government. He has written two books on the Indian Navy.

Sujan R. Chinoy is the Director General of the Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (MP-IDSA), New Delhi since 2019. MP-IDSA is India’s largest autonomous think-tank devoted to defence, security and international relations issues. The DG is appointed by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet headed by the Prime Minister.

A career diplomat from 1981-2018, Amb Chinoy was the Ambassador of India to Japan and Mexico and the Consul General of India in Shanghai and Sydney. A specialist on China, East Asia and politico-security issues, he headed the Indian side in the bilateral Expert Group of Diplomatic and Military Officials negotiating confidence-building measures (CBMs) with China on the boundary dispute from 1996-2000. At the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) from 2008-2012, he anchored external and internal security policies and institutional dialogues with counterparts around the world, including in the extended neighbourhood of the Indo-Pacific.

During his public service of over four decades, he has dealt with political, security, defence, technology as well as trade and economic issues. His diverse Foreign Service career also included postings at the UN in New York, Beijing, Hong Kong and Riyadh. He was the Chair of the Think20 engagement group for India’s G20 Presidency and a Member of the DRDO Review Committee of the Government of India. He is also a Member of the Selection Committee for India's Padma Awards Selection Committee.

He regularly contributes to newspapers and journals, besides lecturing globally on diverse subjects. He speaks fluent Mandarin and is conversant in French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Arabic and French-Creole, besides English, Hindi and Gujarati. He is the author of “World Upside Down: India Recalibrates Its Geopolitics” (published in July 2023 by Harper Collins) and “Global Tumult: India as a Pole Star”, (published in July 2024 by RUPA Publications).

Vinita is the SVP & Chief Public Affairs at the Apollo Hospitals Group, India’s largest and Asia’s foremost integrated healthcare conglomerate spanning across hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, R&D, and tele-remote health care. She works actively with the industry and the Government to accelerate the growth of an inclusive healthcare ecosystem, and is regularly engaged with policy advocacy forums with Ministries and think tanks. Focusing on opportunities to collaborate across industry, and to synergise for scale across CSR programs, she has been engaged with other global stakeholders at the World Economic Forum as well, to promote an innovative culture to reinvent & transform healthcare.

In a career spanning over two decades, she has worked in senior positions in CII & FICCI, and as VP-Corporate Affairs at Bharti Airtel. Vinita completed her Masters in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics (1985-87), followed by Masters in International Relations from the International University of Japan (1987-89). Vinita has published several papers and articles, and has been acknowledged by the Niti Aayog for her contribution to the "Strategy for New India @75".

Passionate about developmental issues, she helped set up the Ek Soch Sandbox for social entrepreneurship (2011-2015). Currently she is one of the co-conveners of the Women’s Mentorship forum in FICCI-FLO led “Empowering the Greater 50% initiative” and is working on a digital inclusion programme for women in education & financial literacy across the country.

With three decades of rich and diverse experience in public relations and integrated communications, Deepshikha Dharmaraj is one of the most respected leaders in the industry in India. Till recently, the CEO of BCW India Group, she now takes over as Chief Executive Officer, Burson Group India, which includes Burson Genesis, GCI Health India and Hill & Knowlton India. In this role she manages the overall business interests of Burson in India and implements its growth strategy encompassing people, clients and partners.

Deepshikha provides strategic counsel to the firm’s marquee clients and senior client leaders and is sought by them as a trusted advisor in good as well as turbulent times. A firm believer in conceptualising impactful campaigns, she champions creativity and measurement across the organization.

In her professional journey, Deepshikha has experienced every aspect of the business. After spearheading the communication mandates for some of the biggest clients at the firm, she led the regional expansion of the erstwhile Genesis PR in the west, setting up the Mumbai office in 1996 and Pune in 1998. She then went on to create the talent development framework as the Chief Talent Officer and Head of Learning and Development. As Chief Marketing & Growth Office, she led the acquisition and retention of key clients and built strong partnerships for new services and capability enhancements. And then combined all these roles as the Chief Business Growth Officer, before being named the CEO.

An active leader in India’s public relations industry initiatives, Deepshikha is a founding board member and currently the President of the India chapter of the Global Women in Public Relations (GWPR), a global organisation for senior women in PR and communications. She serves as the Managing Committee member and President of the Public Affairs Forum of India (PAFI). She also served as President of the Public Relations Consultants Association of India (PRCAI) in 2008. Passionate about bringing creative ideas and measurement into communications, she has been jury for numerous prestigious award shows, including Cannes PR Lions, D&AD Awards, SABRE South Asia Awards, PR Week Awards, Campaign PR Awards India, Fulcrum Awards and IPRCCA amongst others. Deepshikha has also won several awards and recognition, including, most recently being named PR Professional of the Year at Indian PR & Corporate Communications Awards (IPRCCA) 2023 and CEO Of The Year by e4m Women’s Achievers Summit & Awards 2023. She was also listed among the top 25 PR and Communications professionals by Reputation Today, among the 100 Changemakers of PR and Corporate Communications by Exchange4Media, and PR Professional of the Year, by Campaign PR Awards India 2019 and IPRCCA 2019.

Deepshikha holds a master’s degree in business economics from Delhi University and is a firm believer in nurturing new talent. She spends time with students of communication at institutes like the WPP School and Xavier Institute of Communications, teaching and learning from them. She frequently takes part in leadership training and brand communications workshops, as an experienced trainer and participant.

She lives in Mumbai with her husband Atul Suri and son Sohum, spending weekends exploring new coffee shops and places to hang-out, reading and indulging in some mind and body work with yoga and meditation.

Shivnath Thukral in his earlier role was the managing director of Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, India and set up the global think tank’s India office, leading operations and fundraising.

Thukral spent the first fifteen years of his career as a journalist with New Delhi Television Limited, India’s premier TV news channel. He was the channel’s primetime presenter with special interest in business news and policy analysis. He later established the network’s business channel NDTV Profit in 2003, taking over as the managing editor.

Prior to joining Carnegie, Thukral worked with an Indian corporation with a turnover of over $35 billion. He led its global marketing efforts, including strategic and digital communications for the group across the world.

Thukral has been a speaker at global events such as the World Economic Forum and the Milken Institute conference, as well as Indian industry summits on issues ranging from India’s economic policies, domestic politics, and the impact of new digital technologies on society. Thukral interned in the U.S. Senate and was awarded the Eisenhower Fellowship in 2012.

S. Krishnan is posted as Secretary in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India since 11th September, 2023

He has earlier served as Additional Chief Secretary, Industries, Investment Promotion & Commerce Department, Government of Tamilnadu during March, 2020 to August, 2023.

Of the 1989 batch of the Indian Administrative Service, he has also been Additional Chief Secretary in the Finance Department and Principal Secretary in the Housing and Urban Development and in the Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Departments. He was the founder CEO of the Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Development Board. He has also served as the Chairman of the Fifth Tamil Nadu State Finance Commission

He served as the Senior Advisor in the Office of the Executive Director for India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Bhutan in the International Monetary Fund (Washington DC) and represented the Government of India in the G20 Expert Groups on International Financial Architecture and Global Financial Safety Nets.

In the Government of India, he has been Deputy Director in the LBSNAA (Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration) for 4 years from 2000 to 2004 and Private Secretary to the Union Finance Minister.

He was District Collector of Virudhunagar District where he calmed a volatile situation and ensured implementation of development programmes in a 3 years tenure. He was also Deputy Secretary (Budget) in Finance Department for 4 years

Srinivas Katikithala, a senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1989 batch, currently serves as Secretary in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India. Prior to this, he held the position of Secretary in the Ministry of Minority Affairs and was the Director of the prestigious Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration. In his role as Establishment Officer and Secretary to the Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet, he played a pivotal role in structuring Mission Karmayogi, the Government of India’s flagship civil service capacity-building program.

With a career spanning over 32 years across federal and state levels, Katikithala has demonstrated leadership in public policy, legislative reforms, and infrastructure development. In his cadre state of Gujarat, he was instrumental in introducing several public policy reforms in areas such as revenue administration, personnel management, and urban affairs. He also spearheaded landmark projects like the Statue of Unity, GIFT City, and the Gujarat Earthquake Rehabilitation Program (GERRP), which rebuilt 14 cities post the devastating 2001 earthquake.

Shri Manoj Ahuja, the Chief Secretary to the Government of Odisha since June 2024, is an IAS officer from the 1990-batch of the Odisha cadre. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, an MBA from Punjab University, Chandigarh, and a Master's in Public Administration (International Development) from Harvard University, USA.

Prior to his current position, he held several key portfolios, including Secretary, Agriculture, Joint Director (Personnel Training / Personnel & General Administration), Commissioner & Secretary (Steel & Mines, Sports & Youth Services), and Chairman of the Central Board of Secondary Education, Ministry of Education, where he served at the rank of Secretary to the Government of India.

Dr. Neeraj Mittal, Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, a senior Indian Administrative Service Officer of Tamil Nadu cadre, is a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT, Kanpur, MBA from Cranfield University, UK and Ph.D from Ohio State University, USA in Management Information Systems. Business School.

He started his career as an IAS Officer in 1992. He has held various administrative positions in the fields of land and revenue management, mines and minerals, IT/Communications, e-governance. During his stint in Central deputation, he worked in Department of Telecom, Ministry of Commerce & Industry and Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. While working as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, he was instrumental in rolling out the Cash Transfer program in LPG and ‘Give It Up’ campaign. He has also served as Senior Advisor to the Executive Director in World Bank in Washington DC.

He held important positions of CEO of Tamil Nadu Industrial Guidance and Export Promotion Bureau, Additional Chief Secretary, Information Technology and Digital Service Department and MD & CEO, Tamil Nadu Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation.

He has several publications to his credit.

Shri Vumlunmang Vualnam is the Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), Government of India, having assumed the role in September 2023, succeeding Shri Rajiv Bansal upon his retirement. An IAS officer of the 1992 batch from the Manipur cadre, Shri Vualnam has held several significant positions in both the Union Government and the Government of Manipur.

Shri Vualnam has earlier served as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, and Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Finance & Company Affairs. In Manipur, his key roles included Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare and Director of Transport. Additionally, he has served as an advisor to the Executive Director at the World Bank, reflecting his wide-ranging expertise in governance and international finance.

Chetan joined Amazon after an almost 7 year stint at Google. He comes with a wealth of public policy and business experience, working in some of the most demanding and challenging Indian corporate policy environments. During his time at Google, he built an exceptionally strong team, initiated many proactive partnerships with Central and State governments, and strategically re-positioned the company and its reputation in India across a diverse set of political and policy stakeholders, including at the very highest levels.

Prior to joining Google, Chetan was Director, Corporate affairs at Dell India for five years, and previously led Public Policy at Intel, including serving as the TA to the President of Intel. At Intel he won the Intel Achievement Award (IAA) – the company’s highest award. Less than 1% Intel employees win the coveted award. Chetan began his career as a journalist and has worked for some of India’s most renowned publications, including the Times of India, where he headed the newspaper’s technology bureau.

Chetan lives with his wife in Gurgaon, and has a son who is doing his undergrad at UC Berkeley. In his free time, Chetan likes to read (non-fiction), listen to Indian classical music, and, if the weather permits, “run a few miles”.

Shri Atul KUmar Tiwari, IAS, belongs to 1990 batch of Indian Administrative Service borne on Karnataka Cadre. Besides studying History and Economics, he has done MBA in Public Policy from Birmingham, UK, M.Phil. in Social Science, and recently LLB from Delhi University. He has handled different portfolios in the State of Karnataka, particularly in Industries & Commerce, Urban Infrasture Development and Education with manhy accomplishments in his name. In the Government of India, he has served with distinction in Ministries of Urban Development, Overseas Indian Affairs, Rural Development, Textiles and in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. He is serving in Ministry of Skill Developmemt and Entrepreneurship in different capacities from November, 2020 and as Secretary from September, 2022.
